Your Fave Lana Del Rey's Disappoints You but I'm Happy.....Weird

This weekend Lana Del Rey made her grand appearance on Saturday Night Live to perform Video Games and Blue Jeans.

Video Games

Blue Jeans

I've never liked Lana Del Rey from the moment I heard her, because as soon as I heard her I knew what was going on with everyone's sudden infatuation with her. Around the time she was rapidly raising Adele reign had began and showed no sign of slowing down. So of course like clock work everyone instantly began looking for someone to take her down and the best they came up with was Lana. Now fast forward to this weekend and everyone is going crack crazy about Lana's heavenly descent to the SNL stage. So what was the general consensus of Lana's performances? Horrible. It appears that Lana failed to deliver her signature vocals everyone loves so much.

However, while her fans were devastated that Hurricane Del Rey had hit a snag, I watched the videos and was actually impressed. Both performances were good and the vocals were chilly and created a really haunting atmosphere.

Though I thought Lana did good, I have a feeling a certain someone remains unbothered.

Alexandra Burke's Elephant is HERE!

We now have the official single version of Alexandra Burke's Elephant. Listen below:

Alexandra Burke - Elephant by red101

So I think Elephant is a good song; however, hearing the stunning official remix first really tainted the listening experience of the actual single. I like it, but I keep comparing it to the remix, which is bad because the remix makes the official song sound kinda weak. I hope either its a grower or Alexandra pulls a Kelly Rowland ala the Work Freemason remix and promote the remix version as if its the official single.

Madonna Verbally Snatches Gaga's Wig....HARD!

Madonna is back on the promo trail and ready to discuss everything from new music to Lady Gaga. Check out what she had to say below about Mother Monster:

That was THE best shade I've seen and heard this year. Madonna basically said Lady Gaga swagga jacked her HARD and that Gaga's whole bit is a knock off. However, Madge had to make sure she clarified that she "liked" Lady Gaga...... emphasis on the past tense ladies and gentlemen! As you can see Madonna is back and ready to shade any and every artist she feels threatened by and I must say I like it a lot! And after all that shade I'm ready for new Madge music!

Sidenote: Did anyone notice that Madonna was the only guest on the Graham Norton show? I don't know if you guys follow the show but usually he has at least three guest being interviewed at same time, but we all know Madonna's ego took up those other two spots.

Amazing!

Madonna Reveals Album Title and I Eat a Sandwich

The alleged Queen of Pop Madonna has given the world another nugget about her new album by confirming the title of her album via her official site.

The album will be called M.D.N.A

I'm sure her crazed stans and fans are currently foaming at the mouth, with her highly anticipated Super Bowl performance approaching and now an album title it must be a good time to be a Madge fan. Sandwich time!

Check Out the EVO 2 DX Review

Last week I went into a violent rage when I heard Envizions had given someone the opportunity to review their new EVO 2 DX system. At that time all we had was the video, now we can read the actual review. Check out excerpts from the review below:

System Overview
The EVO 2 DX is custom designed for the television gamer looking for the unique experience of PC gaming with the bonus ability to tap into the massive Android market for games and apps typically reserved only for smartphone and tablet users. Motion gamers aren’t overlooked either as full gesturing capabilities come packaged as well (at this time requiring only a standard webcam to interact; EVO-specific hardware not unlike the Kinect and Playstation Move is in the works).

Pricing
Pricing puts the unit closer to the PC gaming hardware side of the spectrum than it does the ever-decreasing current generation of home consoles with two variations planned at launch: A standard Windows 7 Premium system and a Blu-Ray equipped version for $579 and $679 respectively.

Design
The hardware itself is surprisingly sleek in person; an all black slim case offset with only a single red EVO badge on the upper right of the front panel. The red and black motif is masterfully applied to the wireless controllers as well.

Gameplay
A big part of this system’s appeal lies in its gaming ability and fortunately, right out of the box, it contains the ability to run game programs through quite a wide range of media. Using the included BlueStacks app, accessing the ever-expanding Android market place is as simple as launching the application and selecting what you wish to try. We played literally dozens of games during our time with the console this way (ranging from Angry Birds clones to driving games, shooters etc.) without encountering a hitch.

New Music Video: Natalia Kills Kill My Boyfriend

Natalia Kills just released her new video for Kill My Boyfriend. If your ready to be entertained and disturbed then click below:

So before I say what I'm going to say let me inform everyone that I know how to read. Okay, now that we've established that, when I clicked on the link for Natalia Kills' music video for Kill My Boyfriend I knew I was in for some twisted ish. Then the song started and for I was instantly lured into this false sense of security. Honestly, I thought I had lost the ability to read and had clicked on a Sara Bareilles video, but Natalia began to sing and I was quickly reminded of that task at hand. Kill My Boyfriend has this amazing contrast between the song's bright production and the lyrics being dark. The video is artisy, edgy, and daring which are things that we've come to expect from Natalia. Great video.

Amber Rose Releases an E-Mus Certified Masterpiece with Fame

Amber Rose released her highly anticipated single Fame featuring Wiz Khalifa today. Click below to take a listen:

One thing we all must admit about Amber is that she knows the world views her as a bald talentless beauty and her being in on the joke makes this musical situation better. Upon listening to the song you instantly know Amber didn't record this song to go number but to extend her 15 minutes of fame, pun intended. So before I go into my review of the song let's take a look at the prediction I made about this song:

I have hopes for Amber and see her dropping some amazing urban dance track drenched in autotune to hide her inability to properly sing.

As you can see I know my socialite music. Fame is a grand slice of urban dance pie. In the song Amber does an obvious autobiography of her rise to her new status as a celebrity. What so funny about the song is that Amber's voice is coated and hid in so much autotune that you temporarily think she can sing. She doesn't exactly attempt to glorify her lifestyle like Heidi Montag did with the her EPIC fame hungry song Superficial, but simply analyzes what its like to be in her shoes. Wiz Khalifa is there to ensure his fans give the song a chance. Hate her or love her you must admit this song is magical.
